Cover FX came to Darling Design in need of a website refresh that would elevate the brand and appeal to their target audience. Four-months post launch, the average session duration had increased 5%. Returning customers increased from 26% of total customers in 2020 to 42% in 2021.

After the success of the website design, we were hired to update their email marketing, maintain the website, and create paid media assets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • We created a thorough discovery document outlining user experience and design concerns with current website. We then developed a strategy that would improve these issues, which led to an increase in sessions, sales, and returning customers.

  • We did a complete overhaul of email marketing design and programming, including automated flows and implementation of SMS marketing.

We implemented A/B testing within emails to determine what content works best to improve open and click-through rates.

In September, 2021, we took over design of all new marketing campaigns as well as list management. This let to an increase in the active subscriber list from 18k to 90k which resulted in more sales, with October and November 2021 beating out 2020’s numbers for the first time all year.

  • We redesigned the Cover FX website to elevate the brand and cater to their target audience. We updated the site to a new Shopify theme better suited for the brand. We also designed and developed templated landing pages, created custom features within theme to make it easier for client to make updates, updated the site to comply with SEO guidelines, and implemented ReCharge subscription service.

  • Darling Design developed and managed the website and email marketing design schedule. We were a liaison between the design team and developers to ensure the design transferred seamlessly to web on ALL devices and screen sizes.

We also worked with vendors and helped with the integration of new apps onto the website.
